This splendid villa, La Rocca, is situated in a dominant position with a beautiful view over the hills of the Val di Cornia that surround the little town of Suvereto and its medieval buildings, including the Rocca Aldobrandesca and, on clear days, over the island of Elba. The villa, which has been carefully restored by the owner, enhancing the original structure, is located just 5 minutes from the centre of the walled town of Suvereto, a medieval borgo nestled in the hills of the Etruscan Riviera, surrounded by green valleys dotted with cork trees, from which its name derives (sughero = cork), and chestnut trees, with the sea in front in an enchanting architectural harmony of stone with that fascinating grey-reddish hue that covers its historic centre, considered one of the most beautiful borghi in Italy. The property is accessible along a private, unpaved road for about 200 metres. The villa has just one floor with a large patio and a private, fully fenced garden with old olive trees, manicured lawns and numerous species of tall trees such as cypresses, palms and flowering shrubs.
