Il Limone

Il Limone is an ancient manor house with vaulted ceilings 5 ​​meters high, built in late nineteenth century by a family of landowners from Fasano, a rich agricultural center Puglia. The family, like all wealthy families in the area, lived in the village in winter and during the summer season moved to the proprerty Il Limone to better follow the farms and enjoy the freshness and proximity to the sea. Il Limone was built by quarrying the typical suggestive local stone from the same land, ideal for keeping cool in summer. In front of the house was created a quarry, where around in 1800, a splendid sunken citrus grove, protected by a very high dry stone wall. The house and its splendid swimming pool overlook the citrus grove with a difference in altitude of six meters. Like all of them, the farms and manor houses, Il Limone was built with all the comforts of the time, great rainwater tanks to irrigate the citrus grove, the vegetable garden and the olive grove, the snowfield in which to stow in winter the snow for summer use and consumption is available to the kitchens, the cellar, the well inside the house accessible with buckets from the kitchen to draw water. Three rooms have standard double beds (Queen size), in one there is a King Size double bed, in another one a French bed 145 cm wide. The villa has three pouf beds available to be placed in three rooms according to needs. We recommend placing them in larger rooms. The standard occupancy of the rooms is two people, to which 3 extra beds can be added (total 13 people). Each bedroom has a private bathroom. The villa has 7 bathrooms in total. In two rooms there is a chromotherapy shower separate from the toilets in which we have a toilet and sink with mirror, shelves, shelves. In three other rooms we have all the bathrooms with shower, sink, toilet, shelves. In two of these bathrooms there are 2 bidets. There are 9 sunbeds with mattresses and 3 deckchairs, 2 parasols of about 3 * 3 meters, 2 sofas a outdoor canopy and a large pergola with seating for 10 people. Garden size: one hectare including citrus grove.
