Villa Vallugola is without doubt one of the most beautiful houses in the entire area of the Park of Monte San Bartolo, between Emilia Romagna and Marche. The exterior of the semi detached villa is particularly interesting, with a unique feature, a large use of exposed wooden beams for the porch that blend in well with the external teak deck surrounding the pool. The result is amazing and unusual for the typical taste of this area of the Mediterranean. The property's name comes from the famous beach of Vallugola, just 400 metres away, which can be reached on foot via a shady private driveway. A few minutes' drive will take you to the medieval villages of Casteldimezzo and Fiorenzuola di Focara, built on a sheer drop over the sea, or the beautiful historical town centre of Urbino, a World Heritage Site. Villa Vallugola is also the ideal destination for those wishing to experience the night life in the many localities on the Romagna riviera. The varied vegetation and stunning views of the Adriatic coast are certainly aspects that those who stay here will always remember. The private swimming pool provided with comfortable sunbeds is perfect for relaxing outdoors, right next to the portico that surrounds Villa Vallugola which, once again, surprises the discerning traveller with a balanced combination of contemporary and traditional style, never over the top.
The villa has three floors. The elegant, imposing entrance opens directly into the large living room with bigbright windows. From the living room, divided into TV area and dining area, you come to a professionally-equipped kitchen that leads directly out to the beautiful corner porch. A white marble staircase leads up to the first floor with two double bedrooms, both with a beautiful, semi-hidden terrace, a double bedroom with dividable beds and two bathrooms with shower. On the bottom floor, also facing the garden, is a beautiful double bedroom, a bathroom with shower and a second kitchen, ideal for outdoor dining. Also on this floor is the laundry room, accessible from inside.
Air conditioning only in the bedrooms
The park surrounding the villa, which covers about 5000 sq m, has a wide variety of tall trees and succulents as well as a striking wooden structure, with a splendid view of the sea, containing a sofa where you can relax. The large corner porch, furnished with table and chairs, represents the heart of the park where guests can dine whilst enjoying the view of the sea in complete relaxation. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
The unusual circular pool is about 10 m from the villa and is set on a slightly lower level - two steps lead down to it from the villa. It measures about 7 x 7 m with a varying depth from 1,20 to 1,50 m. Entrance to the water is via large steps, it has chlorine purification and is lined in sand-coloured concrete. The solarium area is paved with teak and equipped with sunbeds and sofas, coffee tables, umbrellas and a hot-water shower. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday of October.
