Casa Duna is an ideal villa for couples, families or a small group travelling together that want to see what this beautiful part of France has to offer. Tucked away amongst the pine trees and a mere 5-minutes’ walk away from Hossegor’s lagoon, Casa Duna offers privacy and easy access to all the attractions of the area. It is a 20–25-minute walk to the center of town, which has trendy boutiques and excellent restaurants, or a short cycle ride (2.5km) to the ocean for some surfing and beach games. Nearby is a golf course in Seignosse and the town of Capbreton which has a daily fish market and marina restaurants, offering an authentically French seaside experience where you can enjoy the catch of the day alongside the locals. This outstanding property offers stylish contemporary living, with a large, enclosed garden with beautifully manicured lawns. There are two comfortable bedrooms on the ground level, whilst an external staircase leads to another bedroom suite, enjoying its own sunny terrace and views across the gardens. Outdoor living at Casa Duna is a real pleasure too, with a barbecue for al-fresco cooking and a shaded pergola. Casa Duna is in a great location for exploring the villages of the Basque Country and taking in the rich cultural heritage of the area. Foodies will enjoy visiting Bayonne, famous for its chocolate and cured hams and just a 30-minute drive away from the villa. Further afield is the pretty fishing fort of St-Jean-de-Luz, considered the culinary capital of Hossegar, which has family-friendly beaches and a historic town center. For nature lovers, the peaceful wetland reserve Marais d’Orx, with its high-sided wooden walkways, is a safe option for families. Ascain and Artouste in The Pyrénées National Park are a great day out for children, while families with older children or teens will enjoy a visit to Seignosse and Labenne-Océan waterparks. If you would like to see as much of Europe as possible during your stay at Casa Duna, take a short ferry ride from Hendaye to visit Hondarrabia in Spain or drive across the border the border to enjoy tapas in San Sebastian or at the Guggenheim in Bilbao.
