La Dama del Bosco is located on the hills above Pietrasanta, nestled in a small cluster of houses, heirs of a small medieval village. The property overlooks the long Versilia coast and, looking to the west, you can even admire the Gulf of Lerici. Surrounded by a forest of centuries-old chestnut trees, it is located halfway between the golden beaches and the white Apuan Alps, studded like a crown by the quarries of the renowned Carrara marble. Upon your arrival you will find yourself in front of three houses, yours is the central one, with a living area, swimming pool and garden in the back, with maximum privacy, for your unforgettable vacation a few steps from the village of Capriglia. This is an excellent starting point for countless routes that will take you to discover unique corners and that will give you unforgettable moments of relaxation, framing memorable views. The house has been completely revisited by the owners, following a careful project that has perfectly combined tradition and modernity, giving guidelines for restoration. However, it was decided to preserve the traditional Tuscan materials such as: sandstone, the floors with exposed beams and tiles, the refined finishes of the internal walls. All rooms have been lightened with simple and elegant furniture, enriched in perfect harmony with the pastel tones of the walls and with the fine decorative details that enrich every corner of the house, creating a hospitable atmosphere. The location of the house will allow you to reach renowned coastal destinations such as: nearby Pietrasanta, Forte dei Marmi, Viareggio, Lerici and the Cinque Terre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as famous Tuscan tourist cities such as Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Montecatini Terme or Torre del Lago, which overlooks Lake Massaciuccoli, which was the home and source of inspiration of the great master Giacomo Puccini, not to mention the nearby Colonnata, famous for its IGP lard.
Interiors:
The property is spread over three floors, occupying sloping land, formed by terraces typical of the slopes that overlook the sea. From the stone-paved square, at the back of the property, there is access to the main entrance that opens onto the living area with: on the right the large living room with comfortable seating in the TV area and the elegant dining room while on the left the kitchen and a service bathroom. The sleeping area, going up to the first floor, houses 3 double bedrooms and 1 double with an extra bed, all with en-suite bathrooms. Continuing up the staircase, you reach the second floor, located in the attic, which houses a small living area and a pocket terrace with a breathtaking view of the sea. If more than three (+3 beds) are required, the single bed will be used in the double bedroom on the first floor and the double bedroom in the basement with bathroom. Park:
The property has a garden that develops completely on the back of the house, with the typical flounce shape. In the first of these lies the paved area that houses the outdoor dining area and the living area. From here, going up a flight of stairs, you reach the second ravine covered by grass, which houses the solarium area, with comfortable sun loungers shaded by a centuries-old plane tree, and the barbecue area. Continuing on, a staircase will take you to a large Teak wood area that houses the pool and the meditation pond. Beyond this area, the numerous cliffs are cloaked in olive trees and fruit trees, on the border of this space there is a centuries-old chestnut forest, inside which various trekking trails unfold where you can find a unique and priceless peace. N.B.: Please note that the photo shoots are usually carried out in spring, so the colors and blooms of the gardens, lawns and parks may be different when you enter the villa.
Pool:
The pool, immersed in a large Teak solarium, is rectangular in shape, dimensions 3x8 meters and a depth of 1.30 meters, allows access to the water through an iron ladder with internal lighting, and is purified with chlorine. In the area there is a functional solar shower. Along the perimeter of the pool and nearby you will find comfortable sun loungers to enjoy the sun and the tranquility of this residence.
Animals: Yes, small and medium size. The admission of animals to the facility must be authorized in advance by the owner after communicating the number of animals, size and breed.
