Beautiful Podere Le Corone is located in Doglio, a delightful medieval borgo situated on one of the hills surrounding Todi, characterised by the unmistakable features of the Umbrian landscape and completely surrounded by a large olive grove, a fertile terrain that every year produces a highly prized organic extra virgin olive oil. Since 1601 the borgo has been silent witness to local traditions and the walls, in antique exposed stone, are still steeped in the charm of a place that has seen changing seasons and scenarios, but which has maintained over time its charismatic and discreet presence in this wonderful setting. In 1994, the property was purchased by the current owners who, seduced by the beauty and harmony of its nature, have done everything to preserve the magic of this place. The Podere Le Corone complex develops around an external courtyard and is composed of a main house and two annexes. The conservation of all the details and original aspects were the guideline of the restoration work while the colours and materials were inspired by the Umbrian countryside and the result of a choice of a rustic and welcoming style. The large bedrooms are all equipped with air conditioning. The beautiful and super panoramic swimming pool, also surrounded by old olive trees, is located on lower terracing with respect to the house and enjoys great privacy. There are various outdoor areas equipped with tables, chairs, benches, wood oven and barbecue, the ideal places for cooking and enjoying pleasant outdoor dinners. Podere Le Corone is completed by a majestic living area located on the first floor, equipped with tables, chairs, projection screens and guest bathrooms, and ideal to be used for business meetings, ceremonies and parties. The structure also lends itself to accommodating large groups who wish to share the spacious and welcoming common areas and, at the same time, have independent spaces available, safeguarding their privacy. We are in Doglio, a small hamlet just 5 km from Monte Castello di Vibio, a typical medieval castle built in a raised position, dominating the river Tiber. This borgo, besides its rare beauty, can boast of having one of the smallest historical theatres in the world. From here it is easy to move around to visit the numerous places of natural, artistic and religious interest in the area. Todi is 15 km from the property, while a short drive will take you to the beautiful towns of central Italy, such as Orvieto, Assisi, Perugia, Spoleto. Furthermore, the excellent motorway connections guarantee easy travel to the nearby regions of Tuscany and Lazio. In annex 2 (located on the basement floor with independent access from the back) lives the caretaker, a very kind and discreet person, who will be available to assist guests with any needs or requests, while fully respecting their privacy and exclusive spaces.
