The suggestive Podere Le Corone is located in Doglio, a delightful medieval village located on one of the hills surrounding Todi, characterized by the unmistakable physiognomy of the Umbrian landscape and completely embraced by a large olive grove, a fertile land that every year gives life to a very precious organic extra virgin olive oil. Since 1601, the village has been a silent witness to local traditions and the walls, in ancient stone kept in sight, are still imbued with the charm of a place that has seen seasons and scenarios change, but which has maintained its charismatic but discreet presence in this wonderful painting over time. In 1994, the property was purchased by the current owners who, conquered by the sweetness and harmony of nature, have done everything to preserve the magic of this place. The Podere Le Corone complex develops around an outdoor courtyard and consists of the main house and two annexes. The preservation of all the original details and aspects were the guideline of the restoration work and the shades and materials are inspired by the Umbrian countryside and the result of a choice of rustic and welcoming style. The large bedrooms are all equipped with air conditioning. The beautiful and super panoramic pool, also surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, is located on a lower terrace from the property and enjoys a lot of privacy. There are various outdoor areas equipped with tables, chairs, benches, a wood oven and barbecue, ideal places for cooking and having pleasant outdoor dinners. Podere Le Corone is completed by a majestic living area located on the first floor, with service bathrooms and is ideal to be used for business meetings, ceremonies and parties, with an extra daily cost that also includes cleaning. The structure is also excellent for accommodating large groups who want to share the spacious and welcoming common areas and, at the same time, have independent spaces available, safeguarding their privacy. We are in Doglio, a small hamlet, which is only 5 km from Monte Castello di Vibio, a typical medieval castle built on an elevated position overlooking the Tiber river. This village, in addition to its rare beauty, can boast of having one of the smallest historic theaters in the world. From here it is easy to get around to visit the many places of natural, artistic and religious interest in the area. Todi is 15 km from the property, in a short time you can reach and visit the beautiful towns of central Italy such as Orvieto, Assisi, Perugia, Spoleto. Furthermore, the excellent highway connections guarantee easy travel to the nearby regions of Tuscany and Lazio. NB. In annex no. 2 (in the basement and with independent entrance at the back) lives the caretaker, a very kind and discreet person, who will be available for any needs and needs of the guests, while fully respecting their privacy and their exclusive spaces.
