The recently renovated Villa Amar is located a few kilometres from Olbia on the beach of Mare e Rocce (Sea and Rocks), one of the most beautiful and renowned beaches of Pittulongu, namely the long seaboard between Olbia and Golfo Aranci. The single-floor villa stands in a privileged position because it is at the end of an extremely white beach in an inlet with a turquoise-coloured sea. The property has a pulsing, modern architectural style enhanced by essential lines and well defined by light colour, built to resemble a boat on the beach with a splendid view of the sea. It has “one foot in the water” since the access gate leads directly to the beach. Great quality in the elegant, refined and simple interior with clean, dry lines that enjoy splendid natural light emphasized by the light tones. The spacious, bright and cosy living area opens, through a large window, onto the covered patio which leads to a wonderful sensory garden which welcomes its guests, and to the sea with its splendid contrasts of bright, intense colour, mixed with the winds and breezes wafting the perfume of the myrtle and helichrysum of Sardinia.
Interior:
The villa is built directly on the sea and is accessed through a gate that leads to the large veranda with washing machine, sink and oven. This same veranda also allows you to conveniently park your car. In front of the veranda is the entrance to the villa. Alternatively you can come in from the veranda with large French windows on the sea side, along a path that crosses the garden to the villa. The entrance goes directly into the living area, enveloped in a play of lights dividing the sitting and dining area that are however connected. The large open-plan area is completed by the spacious and functional fully-equipped kitchen with direct access out to the portico. On the same floor is the sleeping area consisting of a double bedroom with a beautiful sea view and en-suite bathroom with shower and a twin bedroom with a bathroom with shower outside the room. The large portico, characterised by care and attention to detail, faces the sea with a relaxation area with dining table and seating corner.
Park:
Villa Amar welcomes its guests in a marvelous sensory garden of about 100 sq m facing the sea, with beautiful contrasts of colour that lend a touch of freshness and elegance to the house. The structure has a splendid panoramic terrace/solarium (with access through an external stone staircase) with a whirlpool tub (not-heatable water) from where you can see in the distance the island of Tavolara (La Montagna nel Mare = The Mountain in the Sea) and admire splendid sunsets while sipping a delicious apéritif. From the garden, which includes a cold-water shower, a convenient wooden gate takes you directly to the white beach in front of the villa. Also worthy of note is the particular containment wall in front of the sea, with large tempered-glass windows so that guests can enjoy the view of the sea from any point of the portico and garden. Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
