Villa Maria Paradiso embodies all the characteristics of the typical Sicilian aristocratic baglio (structure surrounding a large courtyard), renovated with the most modern comforts. It stands near the Mazaro river, just 4 km from Mazara del Vallo, the last town on the border of Europe that proudly shows the world its splendid historic centre, the Casbah, a place where Islamic philosophers and men of letters, judges and merchants strolled, bearing witness to centuries of history and culture. The villa is set in an estate of 19 hectares of land, planted with olive trees and pine groves. On three floors, the villa has seven double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, all with large windows overlooking the pool or the park. The living room on the ground floor leads to the solarium, an area equipped with sunbeds, seating area and a table for outdoor dining, set around the infinity pool. In the garden surrounding the baglio are centuries-old specimens of fig trees, camphor trees, pittosporum and the typical plants of Mediterranean scrub. Villa Maria Paradiso is immersed in a unique geographical setting, surrounded by fields of golden wheat, centuries-old olive groves and vineyards that produce the renowned Sicilian wine. The villa's strategic position allows easy access to the pristine beaches of the coast, to the nature reserves and archaeological sites in the area. It is the ideal place for an authentic and unforgettable experience among culture, art and nature.
